My apologies of misunderstanding that. Coding is not my thing and I thought it was a simple port. Still, the usage of GenAI, coding or otherwise, for an art program is extremely worrying for people who have used your software for art. You're actively building distrust with AI.
Show PostI'm still glad that I made the art that I did, but with how the creator is going about things, I don't think using this program is a good idea anymore. Not for me, not for other artists who have been using it.
Show PostYes, my art has been made within Paintdotnet for the past five years. While I am grateful for the software that allowed me to make my art for years, for free, I don't feel comfortable in using it any longer. I'll be hoping over to something else entirely.
Show PostDawg. You create a program for artists to express themselves and this is what it's turned into. Your Linux port is slop code, you've said it yourself with how you've said it's buggy and slow. Kindly, fuck off and don't come around our corners again.

this guy doesnt use linux, so he didnt know how to port his code over to linux. fine. *get someone else to do it.* it's not that complicated and it doesnt involve pushing out software where the highest praise you can give it is that it "doesnt not work"
