Another day of dealing with late-stage capitalism things, where I have a publicly traded multi-billion dollar company claiming they are "just a marketplace" when showing me free shipping at checkout then adding $15 to the total as I'm about to finalize the purchase.
Show PostAfter some polite back and forth with the poor agent forced to take my chat that initially delivered the company line, got a $15 credit for the purchase. But I feel like I have to deal with this stuff more and more frequently, and I do wonder how close we are in mega-corp land to dropping support.
