Ah, that would make sense! The call handler ‘checked with a colleague’ and said that because it was a large amount (over a year of back payments due to my claim just not being actioned properly) it would need checked and authorised by a supervisor 🤷🏻♀️
Show PostMy suggestion that it would have been checked after I asked for my claim to be escalated and before the letter was sent cut no ice 😆 But at least he confirmed they have the right account details for me which had been a worry!
