Our paper is out! Check out this beautiful story where we uncovered that the costimulatory molecule ICOS is detrimental for PD-1+ CD8 T cells. Sustained ICOS signaling reduces memory-like features of progenitor exhausted CD8 T cells in chronic viral infection and liver cancer.
