have a dad just like this. can confirm he is not taking "no contact" very well at all. going no contact is the only respite some of us get from parents like these and yet they will still find a way to blame their children.

If our system of justice can determine that shooting a one year-old is justified, then we do not have a system of justice, and our goal should be the eradication of the system we have and its replacement with something better.

The visit was also a great learning opportunity for the students and other researchers. Some were likely to be interviewed, so we gave them a little media coaching on how to talk about their work. E.g. describe their project in 10 words or fewer that a nonscientist friend could understand
