I buy used Lenovo from eBay and install GNU/Linux. Kills two birds with one stone. New laptops tend to break a lot. 1/ I pay £150 for refurbished hardware that is nearly as good as new. Usually comes with a guarantee. 2/ I get rid of all of that Microsoft crap.

One thing I learnt is that the Sudan War is, in part, a proxy battle between Middle East powers. Saudi and Egypt on one side, UAE on the other. Like the proxy fights between the US and Russia during the Cold War in e.g. Angola.
