You have it covered, but for other people reading, talk to your loved ones and yourself about setting up an enduring power of attorney that will kick in if someone becomes incapable. It gives you authority to speak on their behalf to places like banks.

Ask them directly if they can do what you need done. They can often waive fees but not interest. Ask to speak with someone who can. They will try to prevent it and do things like arrange a call back. Do not accept. You want to meet them on your terms with all of your documentation ready.
