Until a few days ago Taco Bell was doing one called “Duo’s usual” and I assumed I had lost touch with what’s popular so much that there was a pop star named Duo and just now found out actually, they meant the Duolingo bird, who apparently likes to eat tacos and I have a parasocial interest in that?

One of the strangest phenomenons of the past few years, which I feel has been critically under examined is celebrity tie in fast food meals, like “this is the exact amount of chicken that Jack Harlow would eat and if you eat it you will feel closer to him”. Why would I want that?

baby visit successfully completed. managed to hold him a few times without dropping him. it turns out new parents appreciate having extra arms around to place the baby in so they can shower and eat and etc. human grubs are pretty fascinating but i will definitely not be having any of my own
