This thread is a good read, but is also infuriating to see how large European automakers have been fighting so hard against making smaller affordable EVs people have been saying they want for absolutely YEARS, that they got caught totally off guard when they actually made one available.

The 65th Plenary session of IPCC was suspended because the negotiations were going overtime & most small delegations from developing countries (incl. LDCs, SIDS) had to leave on Friday evening. A "plenary" decision taken during the week-end without them would not have been inclusive or fair.

And then, however, I realise that it certainly wouldn’t do any harm to raise awareness of these solutions even further, so that people don’t lose hope as their techniques and visions of a future built on concrete, brick, steel and glass come under increasing pressure. There are alternatives, repeat.
