Yes. I longed to be close to them when younger. Then I just gave up & made my peace. I fully expected to finally drift away once Mom died. Now? The oldest wants to connect and get closer. And he's hurting me the same way he did years ago. I need a plan. I cannot be vulnerable to him again. 😠
