Show Postif you pivot cols named "a", "b", by default, the output will interleave them "a", "b", "a", "b", etc. this is controlled by the `cols_vary = "fastest"` default. in my case, where the rows are 10,000-element rvars, that was very expensive. good news: a switch to `cols_vary = "slowest"` saves the day
