Show Postyeah! having a system where you can *choose* to check in with a doctor about your questions & concerns would be ideal. turning doctors into healthcare cops is a horrible arrangement for everyone, both patients & doctors.

At the risk of phrasing this badly, I'd love a system where people of any age feel comfortable involving their doctor (in my universal healthcare utopia) to discuss issue of gender because that's what resource access means. But I can't imagine needing to obfuscate an already antagonistic process!

TBH - as an uninformed outsider, changing your gender and adapting your body to it seems like something that touches into the core of your 'self' This idea that you would just do that out of some random thought does absolutely not scan and speaks of lack of theory of mind
