I kinda get it. Ireland was under the monarchy. Fought like heck for independence. Now split in two. One part under a kindom that couldn't give a crap. The other doing it's thing. Then you have the American born Irish...so many lean in to their whiteness and forget the struggle was real.

So I am relieved to be now surrounded by people that truly care about me. That asks how I am. That check up on me (whenever they have the energy or time). That even helps me out online and irl. It allowed me to have the courage to work on my health!

I am only being a little shady. But in all seriousness I've been in many situations where I prioritized my health. And people didn't care or believe me regarding my disabilities. And my need to recover or undergo physiotherapy. And attacked me accusing me of being a bad friend.
