Can someone please tell the cat distribution system to leave me alone. 3 Kittens appeared this morning, 2 of which were friendly as hell. My house butts up to a public park, and people often use it as a dumping ground for unwanted animals. I cannot take them in; my load is too heavy as it is.

There's no one I know who can take them either, the shelters are so overrun that animal control doesn't even pick up cats. Even if they did, the kittens would probably be euthanized in less than a week. All I could do was make noise, make myself scary, and break my heart in order to scare them away.

I hate it. I'm crying. And there's nothing I can do. I can't afford to feed them or get them fixed. Scaring them off was my only option, or risk a feral colony growing in my yard.
