My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who prevented a tragedy, but we must all come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.

Two very different candidates for governor took the debate stage tonight. Darren Bailey's a MAGA extremist who's accomplished nothing. I’ve delivered for Illinois and will keep our state moving forward. The choice couldn’t be clearer. Join me by texting JB to 62707.
Show PostDarren Bailey consistently voted against bills that lowered crime. He opposes basic gun safety, voted against background checks for violent felons, and wants more weapons of war on our streets. He will not make our communities safer.
Show PostDarren Bailey doesn’t care that we’ve funded local schools, fixed roads, and expanded healthcare. That’s why when he was in the legislature, he voted against budgets, tax cuts, and debt payments. He wants to take us right back to the Rauner days of dysfunction.
Show PostIt isn’t hard to imagine what Illinois schools would look like under Darren Bailey. The school he founded uses a curriculum that teaches slave owners were kind to their slaves, and that dinosaurs lived alongside humans. He’s too extreme for Illinois.
