I felt cute for the first time in years the other day and I actually did my little eyeliner wings and put my hair in two tiny buns, curls sticking out all over, and it just felt very freeing to feel good about myself and not 'wrong' like I have since I was 16. I've been healing, slowly but surely. ❤️
Show PostMy relationship with gender has been such a messy thing. I've come back around to being comfortable with my femininity because I made the mental connection that my rejection of it had to do with trauma. I still think I exist somewhere in-between, but at least I'm comfortable wearing dresses again.
