It seems likely I will be forced into trying to write this for the umptymillionth time before the end of this awards cycle but here is my basic rubric: if you have a medium-level expectation that the people/things you see on screen happened in your space-time continuum, that is a documentary.

yeah it kinda felt like witnessing a new kind of person i hadn't considered before, one that maybe was manipulating others into manipulating her, one that was at once easy and impossible to sympathize with. it all felt so sad.
