I just learned that Ransom War will also be an audiobook. It runs for 9 hours and 30 minutes. I guess perfect if you are looking to fill a small gap in your schedule.

I apparently missed that Brandon Valeriano passed away a few days ago... He was both a brilliant scholar and a great dude who I was lucky to know. I wasn't super close with him, but this tribute from @smsaideman.bsky.social sums up the guy I knew pretty well...
