Show PostIt’s barely 8 AM and I have already cried twice today. So that’s neat. Anyway, here’s my Dad mug. I got this for my dad on Father’s Day, 2024. He looked at it, said “what do I need another mug for? But thank you.” And then proceeded to put it in the trash.
Show PostI realize now he didn’t actually mean to put it in the garbage. I think he meant to put it in the dishwasher but he was very, very sick then and didn’t know what he was doing. I fished it out, cleaned it, put it in the washer and never told him that he’d hurt my feelings.
