What's not being reported widely is that it's not just about distribution — posting something online. Simple possession is a criminal act, punishable up to two years in prison.

This is the issue when the government tries to regulate consensual sexuality between adults. The more legislators move away from relatively bright, easily demonstrable, lines (consent, age), the more likely you end up with porno copypasta that can be interpreted broadly and enforced arbitrarily.
