I don't think it's an accident that @ko-op.com is committed to being AI free due to its democratic structure. The workers have made their stances very clear and their power to impact policy and workflows gives them the opportunity to define the workspace how they see fit.

Just to be clear, we do NOT use AI to make games at PUNKCAKE Délicieux. Honestly it's annoying to have to say it, but since I keep seeing "gamedevs are all secretly using it"... Well, no. AI is for losers. That's not how you make good, creative and/or meaningful games. The art is in the craft.

ugh, i've come across a handful of games on Next Fest that look like my kind of thing but they're utterly soured by using generative AI for a some of the artwork, or some of the music, or some frustratingly small thing that I can't overlook
