I was playing Mass Effect for the first time 13 or so years ago, realizing I really needed to think about a career path as I worked through college. That trilogy gave me the push I needed to start writing about games seriously. Will always be so thankful for every person that touched it.

There's so much of BioWare's legacy across the industry right now. Exodus and Archetype Studios, Eternal Strands and Yellow Brick Games, Aether & Iron, Studio Reset, North Mist here, and much more. So much frustration and disappointment, but we can definitely turn those into something productive.

The ability to handle ambiguity in life and art is a sign of maturity and I am so bothered by how many people don’t seem to trust other people to be able to process these things. It’s the same impulse that leads to yelling at headlines for not explicitly saying something is bad.
