So I've been doing pretty good this year! My burnout is slowly going away and I can work more frequently and longer hours, due in no small part to that I refocused from Art to Writing I think. But! Every once in a while it comes back and it hits me so hard, and I forget how to deal!

I need to be told to lay down flat for a few days, and thankfully my partner is the supportive sort 💖 (love you) But as I lay here I keep getting bombarded with ideas to write and draw and I have to just watch them drift by my brainspace and NOT act on them!??!

TORTURE, I SAY! I have vampires to bother! Princesses need kissing! Knights need their yaoi! Knights need their yuri too! And what do I do?? Lay flat in bed, under a weighted blanket and try to find joy in the thoughts, but not making anything from those thoughts. SIGH.

I don't feel you're trivializing at all! I'm just trying to offer a perspective from someone inside the U.S. who despises what we're becoming and fears for many loved ones' well-being. I 100% agree that you're better off in the U.K., even with your own weirdness going on there.
