Like, the idea is that we have studies that show a one-time $30k windfall isn't enough to "change your life" in ways that are measured by money people. It doesn't bump you up into a millionaire tax bracket and it can be lost with a single health scare. Long term, it doesn't change his numbers on you

But like... that's a profoundly stupid way to look at this? For most people $30k is the ability to buy a house, to escape debt, to get that medical procedure done, to simply have the runway to *breathe* for a second. It is absolutely *profoundly* life changing amounts of money for most people.
