Thats not really a good measure. Theres a lot of latent demand that isnt riding transit in part due to the fare system. Also, keep in mind more people use NJT buses than trains, and the fare system is an absolute mess. Look at this specific case: www.reddit.com/r/NJTransit/...

The ICE expansion in the past year funded under OBBBA would add about 0.032 to the figure above. From looking at other sources, we know the number above is around where it would be only so long as Federal LEOs are included.
