Very unhappy with this, as a game consumer. It's unacceptable. If I wanted an Ai game I'd make my own for free. What I want is the human creativity that brings new ideas. I'm ok with AI in some areas but not games at all tbh. Same reason most DND players still use human DMs not website tools.

That's the thing that drives me crazy. Why would anyone pay for your AI slop when it's literally like $20 for a month of token to make your own slop. And then you get the "fun" of making it as well as enjoying it. I do NOT get it.

The recent steam event should be evidence enough of this. Ive heard nothing but Complaints about how it was just flooded with AI garbage. And this is only the beginning.. They need to sort out and enforce a reliable way to not show me games created with AI and separately, games with AI gen involved.

I used to develop mobile apps. You know what made me quit? I found out that literally hundreds of apps are released every day You can work for months on your app, and no matter when you release it, you'll just be 1/100 for that day. We are at that point with video games now too. Worrying.
