This is honestly wild to watch as someone who made the decision to go no contact with my dad six years ago. I know so many queer people for whom this is just the normal thing - it's odd to be in contact, honestly.

(Also I'm very lucky that I am still good friends with my brother and his family. When I cut off Dad, they chose me and that has been a wonderful decision at the end of the day. it SUCKED for a time, but I'm so glad I get to be friends with my brother as an adult).
