A brilliant closing event for @mcrlitfest.bsky.social’s 20th anniversary festival listening to lovely Patrick Grant talk about his book Less, and I got my copy signed too ✍🏼

Never thought when sent this book via a bookshop subscription during the pandemic that I would meet the author. Book signed with my name in Japanese at top. Very cool. @mcrlitfest.bsky.social

Last night we launched The Big Picture Show with Imperial War Museums and Soup Collective, marking 50 years since the Pan African Congress in Manchester. Hosted by Reece Williams, Young Identity poets shared work honouring the voices and stories of the time. ✊🏾 Huge thank you to everyone involved.
