This is great. Landscape-scale restoration. Monks Wood sits on the southern slope of the clay island rising out of the Great Fen. You can see it from the wood. A few of our Marsh Tits have dispersed between the fen and wood. Would be wonderful to link them back together one day.

"We need to start birth controlling invasive humans..."? That sort of language is highly problematic, on so many levels.
Show PostI hunt alien invasive sika deer in my place and locally for ecological motives, and use nothing but solid non-toxic copper ammunition. Apart from the impacts on nature from lead, if you're consuming venison, you *really* don't want lead fragments in your food.
