The ix3/i3 are specifically addressing that. >400 mile range (and BMW/Mercedes exceed their claimed ranges on EVs), really fast charging (>200kw), and at least here in CA the charging infrastructure on I5 is pretty robust. An Ionic5/EV6 will charge as fast but only 300 mile range.

We bought a used 2026 ix drive45 with 3K miles on it. The new ix3 wasn't out in time for us. We live in the Northeast US so good infrastructure for an EV although the new generation of EVs will have massively better range than the current set. It's a great car & drives beautifully.
