"You want games to be emotional like that. I think both teams got lucky to keep it 11v11. It's easy to see the passion when you play at a club like this. The passion in this club is amazing." -Joel Waterman #RCTID

"Usually when we do the basics and the proper things, they end in good results. But one clean sheet doesn't mean anything, it only matters if we can do it next week." -Joel Waterman #RCTID

As in, what do the Timbers do over the next year? I haven’t looked into limiting factors - e.g., the state of the contracts for every player on the roster - but I don’t see how the Timbers stand pat until the new normal kicks in Fall of 2027. #MLS #rctid

Got the result I projected (0-0 stasis). The result speaks both for itself and where I’ve pegged Portland’s overall chances for the season. I have a cunning plan for catching up on the last two games…and the stuff around it by end of day Monday. What to do over the next year, amirite? #rctid

I think it’s telling that Joel Waterman said he and Kamal joked before the match about how they’d have taken a 5-4 win over a 0-0 draw. It’s the time of the year where you have to do whatever it takes to earn 3pts, and the Timbers once again couldn’t do so tonight. #RCTID
