Deku has gradually grown out of the martyr complex he developed as a kid and the suit was the last push to make him accept he deserves happiness. Didn’t mean those old habits vanished though, so him properly adopting a new mindset and life with Ochako is the PERFECT ending.

The realization was so simple for Deku once he understood he’d been spreading himself too thin and wasn’t making Ochako special like he could be. And Ochako as well, noticing his gaze but telling herself she couldn’t burden him and compromise both their lives. UGHHHH MY HEART
