Exactly - most of Carney’s generational projects will serve existing big corps, US owned corps and the wealthy. I see very little for the common man - unless we include dropping the tax on yachts and cars over $100,000… … with over 30% of NBer’s earning under $20/hr I can see how that helped us.

The mill towns were more akin to mercantilism and in some respects, feudal serfdom. The company owned the mill, the hospital, newspaper, sometimes the school and they owned the stores. They were end to end monopolies.
