I’ve taken to adding the shortcuts editing to my quick access list, which gets me to this menu a little faster to edit further, if that helps. I’m glad I learned about using the list method to navigate when I first started CSP, cuz it’s been hugely helpful, and I can’t imagine using CSP without it.

#ClipStudioPaint tip: When you want to reduce a layer's opacity so you can more easily draw on a layer above it, clicking this little guy (at the top right of the Layer window) will colour your layer blue, like a blue pencil sketch, to make it even easier to tell the lines apart. #CSP

This has been part of my workflow for years, super big recommendation to all CSP users. 1) More accurate values than Color-blendmode/Adjustment layer methods 2) You can still colorpick & paint while the preview is active 3) it's a default hotkey, just like rotating or preview-flipping the canvas
