I pay more attention to new music than probably the average person, and even so, a 6Music host will say 'coming up we've got some Wobbly Ghosts, new music from Mr Grub, and a little treat from Dave On Fire' and for all I know they could easily be making all of these artists up.

Ever since I first saw it, this scene has epitomised Amerlcan elegance for me. I wrote a short story about it for Radio 4 (never broadcast) and it's why I drink Gibsons even though nobody who works in a bar these days knows what they are. A perfect scene - RIP Eva Marie Saint.

Film studies should be taught as mandatory as maths, English, science etc. in schools. It would expose you to different cultures, languages, time periods, music. It would promote empathy and understanding of other people's struggles and successes. Hugely beneficial to society.
