This should be the law everywhere. Banning data centres is not a good long-term strategy, IMO, but forcing them to help build/fund clean energy infrastructure is.

This is just flat wrong. If every AI company went bankrupt tomorrow those GPUs would still be used for inference because the models exist and it’s profitable to sell tokens
