The Taltapin wildfire of 2023 near Co-op Lake has created an ideal growth regime for Nootka Lupins (Lupinus nootkatensis) at some sites. This one in the higher ESSF zone. And the purple cavalcade was dotted with a few all-ivory variants. Quint was thrilled. June 17, 2026, near Burns Lake, BC.
