That is not a bad policy. I know many want an all-out ban, and I would not argue, but that is not always going to be the best way. Especially for smaller teams. In my time with Solus, I have watched them ban contributors trying to push slop or bots trying to do a PR. That doesn't change with this.

Secondly, regarding security, adversaries are already using LLMs to identify vulnerabilities on a large scale. If defenders opt out, that won't stop it, it just puts those who need to defend at a disadvantage. I think both are acceptable reasons, and that's all I'm arguing for.
