mesh optimization tip (1/3) this is fine to do for... vanilla meshes and such that get their backfaces exposed when upscaling. not when your tight shirt is already 25k tris because you upscaled via subdiv and modifiers and the backfaces alone will add another 15k instead try: >

1- select some loops around the areas where your holes are (quick and dirty selection done to showcase after the fact) 2- duplicate, separate, flip normals 3- create caps by shrinking the inner loops (make sure the outers stay connected to the mesh edges) and clip into body 15k tris > 1.5k tris

not only will this save you a buttload of triangles potentially (-90%!!!), but it will also make your clothes look like they have some volume instead of being paper thin you can even vertex paint them to darken them without touching textures to make them less translucent on the inside
