Finally knocking Unfathomable off my shelf of shame tonight, one of the few games I’ve ever kept unplayed for more than a year. I have high hopes for this one, with a lotta nostalgia for playing BSG back in the day. Making it a whole thing with a big dinner too.

Admittedly, I haven't played Dawnwalker or Sleeping Gods (yet), but I did write about why "timers" are important in games a while back at Skeleton Code Machine. Might be related. Might not. (Also, I should get Sleeping Gods off my shelf of shame.) www.skeletoncodemachine.com/p/the-final-...

My mother is mildly addicted to....glasses....and knows I like having boxes around to organize my board games. So now I have a bunch of really nice boxes meant to hold glasses and all my games are organized. They fit the scythe factions perfectly. So cool.

We attended the grand opening of a new local board game store near us and we added these to our collection ❤️: Drillers, the Seafarers expansion for Catan, Machi Koro, Pixies, the expansion for River Valley Glassworks, and Tacta. #boardgames
