Just a quick unsolicited shout-out for lunchmoney.app which let me know about some weirdness occurring in one a bank account I would otherwise not have noticed for weeks. #lunchmoney

All banks/credit unions/credit card companies suck. Can we have legislation that require all institutions to let me pull data out of their platforms and use real accounting and budgeting systems? I hate you all!!!!

I used YNAB for a few years but the import tool stopped working with my credit union and made it functionally useless! Maybe I should try again now that it's been a few years.

What's your favorite way to budget? YNAB, spreadsheet, Monarch, Mint, vibes? Looking at formalizing our budget practice but need something labor-lite and useful. Not sure where to pivot.
