As bored as I am with this saga I’ll weigh in with the opinion that if he genuinely wanted to come play for us, he should have handed in a transfer request to Newcastle and accepted the lost fees and bonuses as the cost of the move. He currently looks greedy and unprofessional to me.

There were times when there were tickets on general sale (e.g. during the Hodgson era and even under Rafa). Some of us suffered those RH games to build up credits. It's only now that we are more successful again that it has become an issue (despite higher capacity).
