As someone who has always made my own games by myself, having to learn a bit every single discipline has been incredibly rewarding if overwhelming at times. You really come to appreciate the ways in which things are similar and different.

Some of the most fruitful creative relationships I've ever had in this industry have been with artists or with engineers and the idea of everyone in the industry just going "*my* discipline is important ofc but we can just use the slop machine for everyone else's" is so fucking depressing
