It's always sort of odd, and honestly a little sad, when you see character you were kind of fade to the background. It's also ok too, sometimes you find something new in the new character you start to embody, even if it's escape :)

We don't stay the same person forever. Who we were always has a place in who we become, but room to be more than you think you are, or someone else entirely, isn't a bad thing.

We are always evolving as people whether we like to or not, which sucks in a lot of ways. But maybe Rusty will be your safe spot for a while, or heck might become more who you would like to be more like after the dust has settled. Luckily he is all yours and can be what you want, or what you need.
