I think many people are likely a lot more sympathetic to someone holding onto to a career built on thoughtful writing and creative work than they are to one where you don't really contribute anything and just steal all your material from somewhere else.

I figure when referring to Jax in the show its prolly fine to use whatever pronouns, and prolly the ones Jax uses at the time when around newbies to avoid spoilers. I personally just wanted to know what a preferable pronoun would be for Jax given theres obviously transfemme themes for Jax.

That's not what "canon" is. Anything left outside the work's text misses what the canon is. That's literally what the word is for. This would by definition be apocryphal.
