RE grandparents rights — A thing I keep coming back to is cutting off parents as a parent is uniquely hard. Like, emotions aside, it is practically and socially inconvenient to reduce trusted adults in your kid’s life. So to imagine a mom/dad casually going no contact with a trusted adult is MADNESS

We have/had an octopus skeleton somewhere in our decorations. Family overrode my objection, which is primarily that it is stupid. We also have a spider skeleton of course.
