For example I'd be in bed and start thinking about animals in scary situations in like Milo and Otis and suddenly Id be overwhelmed and couldn't stop crying. Then id get yelled at because I couldn't explain why I was so upset. Funny that I found out my milo and otis tears were justified years later

Did you ever have a delayed crying reaction as a kid? Like you watch something and later on you think about and you cant stop crying? Even if it wasnt that sad but the tone was melancholy? I had that alot as a kid.
