I am genuinely terrified everyone will forget, or has already forgotten, how different people were 15-20 years ago. Since then, all technological innovation has worked toward the goal of sapping human attention as a commodity and society is far worse for it.

i actually haven't even had the energy to reply to my friends irl/offline much at all, if that puts it in perspective. been in a weird little bubble during all of this medical crisis stuff. many folks who love me have big feelings about all this which is very understandable but
