The Furry Fandom has grown so large people who don't like it are using Furry avatars to gain acceptance while denying acceptance to others. It's a real problem. I can always speak eloquently on it and what's happening, but that doesn't mean I have a solution. Censoring everything is not a solution.
Show Post3/3 I never want to hear a Republican say they care one cent about our children or our freedom. Which children? Whose freedom? Their president and every single one of their senators and justices said it is OK to harass and discriminate LGBTQ teens in schools and online. You gave power to this evil.
Show Post2/3 When gay marriage was legalized, Republicans fought hard against it. When Biden ruled LGBTQ children need protection, Democrats promoted acceptance. When Republicans wrote thousands of anti-LGBTQ bills, they demanded discrimination. When Trump removed those protections, he made hate legal again.
Show Post1/3 I remembered all the harassment, bullying, and struggles I faced in middle school in the late 2000s when LGBTQ acceptance was abysmal. So many kids were committing suicide due to societal rejection. The world accepts hatred and prejudice more than tolerance and education.
Show PostThe problem isn't a lack of education, it's people's unwillingness to accept it. Sadly, I don't know how to educate the hateful. And there are too many hateful, spiteful, disrespectful people these days. All I can do is educate the willing. It's not enough, but it's better than nothing.
