A good thread to demonstrate the point that one belief that cuts across most ideologies is that people don’t think financial crimes are actual crimes. This is spiritually indistinguishable from MAGAs saying ‘of course Trump didn’t pay taxes, he’s not a chump!’ (Or any other blatantly corrupt acts)

sorry this is straightforwardly wrong. City could have done it *the same way* from an accounting perspective and *at a different rate of change* and it would have been totally fine under both the historical PSR regs and the current squad cost ratio caps. the issue was manitude not direction.
